hello all

i am going in for a day series of tests at the hospital in the morning. this is all endocrine related. my mum is picking me up and taking me IN THE WHEELCHAIR (no nagging needed this timeRollEyes )

i am popping on and off the forum.

things are progressing so fast here that i cant really manage to get my head round things. my ot is coming this afternoon to discuss the building work with me and i am going to ask if we can just go ahead with the basics really.

WAV application begun. PLus i have a super doopa light weight laptop now so can type lying down but HAVE ordered the new version of dragon.

much love to all especially the newly escaped barbara.

Hello Jenni,

will be thinking of you, hope tests go well and lead to more effective support for your health,

Also hoping for a really efficient and effective OT visit,

New laptop sounds cool especially light weight, lovely!

Take care, keep your chin up and keep smiling,

Have been saying little prayers for you and Gemma and all xxxxx

BTW Whats a WAV application? (Sorry ~ completely gormless, me when it comes to acronyms....!)

Lots of love ~ Liz xxxxx

It's lovely to hear from you Jenni and glad the lightweight computer has made it possible for you to keep in touch.

I will be thinking of you tomorrow morning and hoping with all my might that the doctors manage to come up with a proper treatment/care plan for you. Do you know how long you will be in?

the plan is for the day julie- it is for a day series of cortisole tests.

i doubt a dr will even see me tbh, i am going to try and ask them while they are at it to do a full blood test for the things the rheummy team will want to see though. worth a try eh?

Good luck Jenni,

For tomorrow and the future.

You must be young, not an old 'doddera' like me at 56 . (new last month to NRAS) So sorry to hear that you are really
quite disabled I REALLY do hope you get the need you require asap.

Love Rose x

I think it would be a good idea to ask for the rheumy type blood tests to be done as well Jenni - might even get someone to think about having a co-ordinated look at everything together (you never know!). Good luck and hope it's not too horrendous.
